1942 The company was formed to carry on business as designers and makers of gas-fired mould drying stoves for use in foundries, specialising in appliances for the saving of fuel. In 1948 the company purchased Hutton Hall, once the home of Sir Joseph Pease, to use as its headquarters in preference to offices in an industrial area of Middlesbrough.[1]

1978 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
