1865 Married at Paddington to Josephine Emma Causzar and had two daughters and two sons

1881 Residing at 65 Holland Park, London: John McConnell (age 52 born Ulverston), West India Merchant. With his wife Josephine Emma and one daughter.[1]

1890 April 26th. Died. 'Mr. John McConnell, senior partner of the firm of Booker Brothers & Co., of Demerara, died in London on the 26th April.'[2]
