John Nash (1752-1835), architect
1752 Born during in Lambeth, south London. His father was a Welsh millwright also called John (1714–1772).
From 1766 or 67, John Nash trained with the architect Sir Robert Taylor. The apprenticeship was completed in 1775 or 1776
Commissioned to build three gaols - 1789-92 Carmarthen, 1791-97 Cardigan and 1792-96Hereford
1790-93 Repaired front of St. David's Cathedral
1793 and 1797 Bridges at Aberystwyth
1795 and 1798 Stanford Bridge
