Son of John Onions

1806 Married Frances, daughter of the local ironmaster John Guest (1750-1824) son of the famous John Guest

1819 Took over the iron foundry of Banks and Onions on his father's death

1845 John Onions, ironmaster, was director of several railway companies including the Dudley, Madeley and Broseley Railway[1].

1851 John junior lived at Whitehall, Broseley.

1859 John Onions, Junior, died
