'... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Dale Shaw, George Shaw, William Shaw, Joseph Whiteley Shaw, and Robert Mac Shaw, as Woollen Cloth Manufacturers, at Grove Mills, Longwood, in the county of York, under the style of John Shaw and Brothers, and as Cotton and Merino Yarn Spinners, at Britannia Mill, Golcar, in the said county, under the style or firm of Shaw and Shaw, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said George Shaw, as from the 31st day of December last.
