1911 Living at 112 High Street, Burton-on-Trent: John Smith (age 60 born Bridge of Weir), Chief Engineer at Brewery. With his wife Mary Ann Smith (age 60) and four daughters (who appear to be from a previous marriage).[2]

1926 Death of his wife of 93 High Street, Burton.[3]
