Gard (age 30 born Exeter), Ironmonger (Assistant); William Gard (age 21 born Exeter), Ironmonger (Assistant); and Henry Gard (age 17 born Exeter), Articled Clerk to Attorney.[1]

1861 Living at St. Leonards, Exeter: John S. Gard (age 75 born North Tawton), Retired Ironmonger. With his wife Elizabeth Gard (age 73 born Exeter) and son Henry S. Gard (age 27 born Exeter).[2]
