John Telford ( -1807)

Unrelated to Thomas Telford but worked for him on the Caledonian Canal

Toll-Collector at Chester and later took the same role at Fort William.[1]

Managed the building works at Corpach on the Caledonian Canal

1807 April. Died. His wife moved back to Chester. His position on the Caledonian canal was taken by Alexander Easton.[2]
