1851 Lodger in High Street, Dumbarton (age 25 born Glasgow), Engineer Master 4 men. [1]

1856 Married to Janet the youngest d. of the late Daniel McAusland, ropemaker. [2]

1861 Living at Bellfield House, West Bridgend, Dumbarton (age 35 born Glasgow), Master Engineer. With wife Janet (age 35) and children James Mc. (age 3), Agnes (age 1) and Margaret (age 9 months). Three servants. [3]

1862 Tulloch retired from the engine works

1868 Died at Dellfield, Dunbarton. [4] aged c42 years


1885 Margaret Tulloch, daughter of John Tulloch, married Sir Archibald Denny, 1st Bt.
