1924 Mr John Wilde, senior partner in the firm, retired on June 30th 1924. The business hitherto carried on in the name of John Wilde and Sons carried on under the same style by Mr. Percy Wilde, who for many years took an active part in the management and control thereof.[1]

1947 Upon John Wilde's death, his son, Mr. Eric John Wilde took over the business.

In the late 1950's and early 60's Peter John Wilde, Eric's sons and John Wilde's grandson worked for the business.

c1966 After the death of Eric John Wilde, the business closed.[2]
