1922 Proprietor, Hatley Engine Co., Fairweather Green, Bradford. Apprenticeship with Thomas Metcalfe, Ltd., through workshops and drawing office; Manager of firm for 6 years, leaving this position to commence business in partnership as above, now sole member of the firm.
