1930 Obituary [1]

JOHN WILLIAM TROWSDALE died on March 17, 1930, at Brierley Hill; he was sixty years of age.

Over thirty years ago he took up the position of chief costs clerk at the Earl of Dudley's Round Oak Works, Ltd.; later he became the secretary of the Company, then joint managing director, and in 1924 he was appointed managing director.

He joined the Iron and Steel Institute in 1909.
