1906 John Wilson MP, principal of the firm, died

"THE Trustees of the deceased John Wilson, Merchant, Hillhead House, Glasgow, have transferred the Business carried on by the deceased under the Firm of JOHN WILSON & SON, Engineers, Vulcan Works, Johnstone, as from 1st January 1906, to John Wilson & Son (Johnstone) Limited. The Business will be carried on as hitherto by the said Limited Company, who have acquired the whole assets and will discharge all the liabilities of the Business." Signed by some of the trustees of the estate and by John Wilson and Alex. M. Wylie, directors of John Wilson & Son (Johnstone) and the company secretary W. Muir Wylie[1]
