1880 Established by John Shields and E. B. Steegmann.

1902 Johnston, Shields and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £130,000, to acquire the business carried on at Newmilns under the name of Johnston, Shields and Company, and at Barcelona, Spain, under the name of La Escocesa, Johnston, Shields y Ca., and all the property and assets thereof, and to carry on business as manufacturers of, and dealers in, lace curtains, tapestry, etc.[1]

2003 The company changed its name to Moonweave Limited.

2016 The company was dissolved.[2]
