1881 Living at Bellaire, Pilton, Barnstaple: Joseph Edwin Baylis (age 49 born Worcester), Glove manufacturer employing 17 men, 14 boys and 69 girls. With his wife Emma Baylis (age 49 born watford). One servant.[1]
1890 February 14th. Died at Barnstaple
1890 March 8th. Probate. Of Bellaire House, Pilton, to Edwin Taylor of Watford and John Reavell of Pilton, Glove manufacturer.
