1926 "IT is claimed that a world's record was made by Mr. J. S. Wright, at Brooklands, on the 10th inst., when he rode a twin-cylinder Zenith J.A.P. motor cycle at a speed of 113.45 miles per hour."[1]
Wright held the lap record at Brooklands from 1925 until 1935.[2]
