Joseph Stenner (c1839-1916) of J. Stenner and Co

Born at Selworthy the son of Joseph Stenner, a Carpenter.

1868 patent. '1486. To Thomas Hawkes; Frederick William Spencer and George Spencer, Agricultural Engineers, and Joseph Stenner, Foreman, all of Tiverton, in the county of Devon, for the invention of "an improved seed and manure drill, parts of which invention are also applicable to other similar agricultural implements."'[1]

1876 Patent. '1415. To Joseph Stenner, of Tiverton, in the county of Devon, for the invention of "improvements in the construction of corn and manure drills."'[2]

1901 Residing at High Path(?), Wellington: Joseph Stenner (age 62 born Selworthy), Agricultural Engineer and ironmonger (and employer). With his wife Elizabeth Anne.[3]

1911 Residing at Selworthy, 67 Kensington Park Road, Brislington, Bristol: Joseph Stenner (age 72 born Selworthy), Retired Iron Monger. With his wife Elizabeth Anne and his niece.[4]
