1849 A boiler maker, married Phebe Elizabeth Pearson in Birmingham; his father was also a boiler maker[1]

1851 of Etna Iron Works, Smethwick.[2] - J. and W. Horton

1862 Bankruptcy filed against Joshua Horton the younger, of Wordsley, in the parish of Kingswinford, in the county of Stafford, Iron Founder and Boiler Maker, was discharged on 27th-day of April, 1863[3]

1893 of Handsworth when he died[4]
