1840 The partnership between Richard Bealey, John Wilson Hawksworth, and Joshua Moss, as Merchants or otherwise, conducted and carried on at Sheffield, as Bealey, Hawksworth, and Moss, was dissolved by mutual consent; all debts would be paid by John Wilson Hawksworth and Joshua Moss.[1]

1849 Dissolution of the Copartnership between John Wilson, late of Sheffield, in the county of York, Merchant and Manufacturer, deceased, and John Wilson Hawksworth, Joshua Moss, and Joseph Ellison, carrying on business as Merchants and Manufacturers, at Sheffield, and in the United States of America, under the firm of Wilson, Hawksworth, Moss, and Ellison, and of Wilson, Hawksworth, and Company. All debts would be paid by John Wilson Hawksworth. Joshua Moss, and Joseph Ellison.[3]

1871 Manufacturer of steel files and general merchant; born c.1802; living in Sheffield with his wife Mary and daughter Emily[6]
