1808 The business was established by William Stallard and continued by his sons and grandsons.

1883 Josiah Stallard and Sons Limited was incorporated as a public company, with capital of £150,000, to carry on business as rectifying distillers, importers of and dealers in foreign spirits and wines, manufacturers of mineral waters and fancy beverages, and general bonded warehousemen.[1]

1912 In order to reconstruct the company, Josiah Stallard and Sons Limited was wound up voluntarily.[2]
