He was father of Dr John Wedgwood (1919-2007)

1930 Became MD of the firm

He is credited with turning the company's fortunes around. He was responsible for the enlightened decision to move production to a modern purpose-built factory in a rural setting at Barlaston.

1968 Died. He had remained as chairman until this year.
