'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned Henry James Joyce and Walter Richard Fox in the trade or business of Wholesale and Retail Grocers at 13 Union street in the borough of Leicester under the style or firm of Joyce and Fox has been dissolved as from the fourth day of March instant and that all debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Henry James Joyce by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
