Captain J.A.V. Echevarri was the long-serving secretary of the Wireless Telegraphy Board.

1897: Born, 17th May.[1]

Educated King's College School.

1916: Gazetted Temporary Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Naval volunteer reserve (R.N.V.R) on the 25th January. [2]

1918: Became Captain, R.A.F.

1918-19: Posted with the R.A.F. in Malta. [3]

1920: Appointed as a temporary member of Wireless Telegraphy Board for the RAF, becoming Assistant to the Head of the Board later the same year.[3]

1920: British Delegate at International Conference on Electrical Communications, Washington, D.C.

1921: Delegate at the International Technical Committee on Radio Communications, Paris,

1924: Appointed Secretary, Wireless Telegraph Board.

1934: Married (Spouse: née Churchill)

In July 1945, Echevarri was still in post as Secretary of the Wireless Telegraph Board.
