Established in 1810 by John Kearsley, as Kearsley, Muller & Co.

In 1816 style changed to Kearsley & Bower.

About 1820 the firm became John Kearsley & Son, and in 1848 Kearsley & Hadwen.

Afterwards Samuel Kearsley & Co., until 1861, when present style was adopted.

1914 Present Principals: Walter Cunningham, J. A. Flamank (since 1901), and R. T. Cunningham (since 1903). Business: Cotton Brokers.
