1930 Amalgamated with Associated Iliffe Press[3]; owned over two-thirds of Iliffe and planned to acquire the remainder[4]
1937 With the breakup of Allied Newspapers, Edward Mauger Iliffe acquired the well-established and highly lucrative Kelly's Directories.
1953 Acquired Thomas Skinner and Co (Publishers), bringing into the group a number of well-established guides[5]
1959 62nd AGM was reminded that over 80 percent of the company was owned by Amalgamated Press Ltd[6]
1960 Name changed to Kelly-Iliffe Holdings; Kelly's Directories would continue as a subsidiary[7]
By 1965 Kelly-Iliffe group was part of the International Publishing Corporation[8]
