1870 Company established.
1901 The company was registered on 28 October, to acquire the business of chemical manufacturers of the firm of the same name. [1]
1944 Kemball, Bishop and Co, experienced in making products using mould fermentation, together with the Therapeutic Research Corporation of Great Britain and ICI (Pharmaceuticals), were working on the development and production of penicillin[2].
