Kembrey Engineering

From Graces Guide

1974 W. Crowther and Sons, through a joint company, acquired 50 percent of the machining, assembly and tool room of Plessey Co's mechanical products division at Swindon. The new company was called Kembrey Engineering[1]

1985 Mechanical engineers SI Group, makers of brewery equipment, was subject to a reverse take-over offer by Kembrey Group, precision engineers[2] but shareholders rejected the deal.

1990 Acquired McMurdo Batteries from Louis Newmark[3]

1991 McMurdo Marine launched a range of floating marker and life jackets powered by lithium batteries[4]

1994 Maker of electrical connectors. Acquired by Chemring[5]
