1824 December 21st. Prospectus for the 'Kentish Railway Company'. Sir James Cockburn is Chairman and 18 are named as Directors. Mentions London, Deptford, Greenwich, Woolwich, Gravesend, Strood, Rochester, Chatham, (a branch to Maidstone, Tonbridge and the Weald), Faversham, Canterbury, Dover, Sandwich (branches to Ramsgate and Margate) [2]

1825 November. Notice that they intend to apply to Parliamnet for an Act. Gives details of the intended route. [3] [4] [5]
