1924 Cyril Reginald Sutton Kirkpatrick established the firm of engineers

WWII Also involved with the construction of concrete caissons for the Mulberry Harbour used following the Normandy landings.

1951 The firm merged with Scott and Wilson to form Scott and Wilson, Kirkpatrick and Partners. This firm later became the Scott Wilson Group
