1946 The company was registered as a private limited company on 3rd June 1946 and was converted into a public company on 7th December 1964. On incorporation it acquired the civil engineering contracting business started by Charles Lazur Kottler and James Heron. At the time it went public the company had one wholly-owned subsidiary, Preload Limited.[1]
