Kynnersley Aqueduct

From Graces Guide

DEMOLISHED in 1967

A cast iron span carried the Shrewsbury branch of the Shropshire Union Canal over Kynnersley Drive. The Shrewsbury branch joined the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal at Norbury Junction, and was built to connect the main line with the much earlier Shrewsbury Canal, which itself connected the tub-boat system of the Shropshire coal field with Shrewsbury.
