Crosshead pin (wrist pin) turning machine described and illustrated in 'The Engineer'[1]. Some steam engine manufacturers in North America favoured the use of wrist pins cast into or forged integral with the crosshead. The pins were impossible to finish machine in the normal way, and Flanders produced a manually-operated machine with cutting tools which orbited the pin.
