1957 company incorporated. Maker of non-woven fabrics, for use as inter-linings in clothing. A joint venture of Tootal and West Point Manufacturing Co

1961 Albert E. Reed and Co established a joint venture, Aerlan, with Lantor to research methods of making non-woven fabrics using paper-making techniques to speed up production[1].

1975 Name changed to Lantor International Ltd
