Lawrence Theophilus Vickers (c1878-1925) sometimes spelt Laurance; of Vickers, Bristow and Co

Born the son of John Jacob Vickers, a ship Owner.

1901 Residing at the Old Manor House, Wallington: John J. Vickers (age 58 born Nottingham), Ship Owner (and widower). With sons Harold P. Vickers and Laurence Vickers (age 21 born Streatham Hill) Engineer (Mechanical), also a daughter.[1]

1903 Laurence Vickers, drives a 15 h.p. C.G.V. in Tourist section of Belfast event.[2]

1903 Laurence Vickers, Hermitage house, Limpsfield. Speeding offence at 28 m.p.h.[3]

1904 Married at Hove to Winnifred Helen Mary Wilson

1911 Boarding at Cardington, near Bedford: Laurance Theo Vickers (age 33 born Streatham), Managing Director - Agricultural Engineers (Employer). With his wife Winifred Helen Mary Vickers (age 31 born Brighton).[4]

1912 Travels to New York on Lusitania. Resident at Horley, Surrey. Wife is Winifred.

1922 Travels to Natal via Cape Town. L. Vickers, Fouroaks, Hants, a Farmer, age 42.

1925 July 02nd. Died at South Africa, of The Trout Bungalow, Nottingham Road, Natal. Probate to Winifred Helen Mary Vickers, widow.
