1851 Living at Albion Terrace, Trevthan, Monmouthshire: Lawrence Tipping (age 58 born Matlock), Turnpike Road Surveyor (16 Labourers) and a Widower. With his children Ann Tipping (age 20 born Trevthan), Lawrence Tipping (age 19 born Trevthan), Labourer of Roads, William Tipping (age 17 born Trevthan), Robert Tipping (age 7 born Trevthan). One servant.[1]

1861 Living at Albion Terrace, Trevthan, Monmouthshire: Lawrence Tipping (age 66 born Matlock), Retailer of Beer and Road Contractor, Widower. With his son Robert Tipping (age 16 born Trevthan) and his Sister-in-Law Rachel Lloyd (age 73 born born Trevthan).[2]
