Leeds & Northrup was a Philadelphia-based manufacturer of electronic instruments.

1903 Morris Leeds (who had his own instrument company) partnered with physicist Edwin Northrup to establish the business. They developed and manufactured precision measuring instruments like resistance bridges, potentiometers, galvanometers, and other instruments.

1953 Formed Integra, Leeds and Northrup in UK.

1960 Name of UK company changed to Leeds and Northrup

1978 Leeds and Northrup merged with General Signal Corporation.
