Leonard Wilson Foulds (1905- ) of C. A. Britten and Co

Born 19th March, 1905. Educated at Brentnal School, Stockport. Apprenticed with Furnival & Co., Stockport, 1919. Joined Hollingdrake Automobile Co., 1926 and appointed Service Manager of their Liverpool Branch, 1928. In 1931 joined present Company in similar capacity. Gazetted as Lieut. R.A.O.C., T.A. in 1939. Served during war, in R.A.O.C. and in R.E.M.E. with rank of Major in India and Persia. Re-joined C. A. Britten & Co., becoming Works Director in 1947 on formation of Limited Company.
