1928 Public company incorporated to form a group of garages providing service and parking in London, taking over a number of existing garages from F. and P. Vandervell, Simmons and Edwards, Leverett Kearton Garages[1]

By 1958 The Lex Group of Companies included Lex Garages, Lexington Products Ltd and Sprinkleen Ltd[2]

1960 The Lex Group included Vehicle Contracts Ltd[3]

1969 Name changed to Lex Service Group[4]
