1889 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Henry Lightbown, Eli Leach, and John Catlow, carrying on business as Cotton Manufacturers, at Springfield Mill and Radford Mill, both in Darwen, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Lightbown, Leach, and Catlow, has this day been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said John Catlow. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Henry Lightbown and Eli Leach, by whom the said business will in future be carried on under the style of Lightbown and Leach...'[1]
