1866 15th anniversary of the foundation of the Association. Joseph Newton presiding.
1868 The annual dinner was presided over by Mr Whitworth FRS. The Association had evolved from its original objective of providing mutual help to members to find work, so that it now provided a widows' and orphans' fund and was setting up a superannuation scheme; a library was being established; monthly meetings took place at which members read papers[4]
1874 The library of the Association was deposited in the Society of Arts.
Later became the London Association of Foremen Engineers and Draughtsmen
1923 The London Association of Foremen Engineers held their annual dinner; Mr R. F. Nicholson was in the chair[5]
1930 Annual dinner held in London[6]
