1825 February 1st. Announcement. Directors named. George Stephenson is Engineer. London to Manchester by Northampton, Leicester and Derby. [4]

1825 Febuary 25th. Meeting with Pascoe Grenfell in the Chair. Route from London to Manchester debated. [5]

1825 November. Report on meeting. Hibbert is Chairman. [6]
