1861 Incorporated to build a line from Ludlow to Clee Hill. Length about 6 miles.

Opened in 1864 this six mile line included a 1.25 mile rope worked incline for the quarries.

1923 Absorbed by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway and the Great Western Railway
