LYNEDOCH ARCHIBALD MACKENZIE, B.Sc. (Edin.), born on the 27th November, 1884, died on the 19th October, 1915, of wounds received in action at the Dardanelles.

On completing his practical training under John Brown and Company, Limited, of Sheffield, he received the appointment of Assistant Superintendent at the works of Linotype and Machinery, Limited, Altrincham, relinquishing his work at the outbreak of war to take up a commission in the Royal Engineers, East Lancashire Division.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 11th March, 1913.
