Mr M. T. Truscott, B. Sc. (Associate Member), is the Design Manager of Rolls-Royce and Associates Ltd.

He graduated from the University of Leeds in 1952 and became a graduate apprentice with Rolls-Royce. During this time he worked with the mechanical development section on 'Avon' aero engines. In 1957 he joined the nuclear department of the company. He spent a year in the U.S.A. as a representative of his present company and then helped to prepare its long-term development programme. Before taking his present post, he was Project Engineer for the reactor compartment machinery of H.M.S. Valiant.

Mr Truscott became a Graduate in 1952 and an Associate Member in 1959.
