1995 Acquired John Holding Ltd; the business was combined with that of Quality Forgings.
Principal operating subsidiaries were: MSI-Blantyre Ltd, MSI-Defence Systems Ltd., MSI-MechForge Ltd., MSI-Preconomy Ltd, MSI-Transportation Systems Ltd, MSI-Turned Parts Ltd., Ernst Wilhelms GmbH and Co.; Global-MSI plc was an associated company[2]
2010 The Company acquired the remaining 50 percent interest in Global-MSI plc, from the joint venture partner Portman International Securities Limited.
c.2016 The Company’s principal operating subsidiaries included:
- MSI-Defence Systems Ltd.
- MSI-Forks Ltd.
- MSI-Forks Inc.
- MSI-Forks Garfos Industriais Ltda.
- MSI-Quality Forgings Ltd.
The defence division is engaged in the design, manufacture and service of defence equipment.
The forgings division is engaged in the manufacture of forgings.
The petrol station forecourt structures division is engaged in the design and construction of petrol station forecourt structures.
The Company holds a 50% interest in Global-MSI plc, which operates through Europe.
