1915 MacGregor's Port Glasgow Engineering Works Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to take over the business of mechanical engineers, iron founders, boiler makers and brass-founders, and manufacturers of machinery, carried on by the Port-Glasgow Engineering Works Limited.[1]

1922 Products.—All kinds of steering gears; Macgregor's patent liquid rudder controller.

1963 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
