1948 Private company. Machlett X-Ray Tubes (Great Britain) Ltd., was registered; it would be closely associated with Watson and Sons (Electro-Medical), a subsidiary of GEC[1]

1958 Long-standing co-operation between Watson and Sons and the Machlett Company of the USA in X-ray tubes.[2]
