1983 Main Gas Appliances Ltd was incorporated

1986 Thorn EMI sold its heating division to Myson. Name changed to MDA (1986) Ltd.

1987 Main Gas Appliances (Part of the Myson Group) is one of the leading companies manufacturing domestic appliances (Water Heaters, ...)[4]

1989 MDA (1986) Ltd. was removed from the register of companoes

1990 Main Gas Appliances of Wyre Street, Padiham, Burnley, Lancashire[5]
