1833 Company formed by Joseph Warren. He had been in business with a foundry at Heybridge, near Maldon for about twenty years.
1870 Employing c.90 men
1872 Became a limited company on the death of Joseph Warren. Directors. Mr. J. Barritt, Guys, Maldon; Mr. J. C. Float, Maldon: Mr. C. J. Carter, Rook Hall, Little Totham; Mr. A. G. Sadd, Maldon: Mr. H. Foster, Great Totham; Mr. T. Worraker, Maldon. Manager. Mr. J. C. Float. The Company has been formed for the purpose of carrying on the BUSINESS of the late Mr. JOSEPH WARREN, Ironfounder and Manufacturer of Agricultural Implements, of Maldon.[1]
