Margam Copper Works

From Graces Guide

Margam Copper Works began operation in 1777-80, under the English Copper Co.

1838 Vivian and Sons acquired the Margam Copper Works from the English Copper Co.

1898 ceased production

by 1917 the works were largely demolished

c.1926 Margam Iron and Steel Works were built on the site of Margam Copper works[1]
